How Posture Assessments Can Improve Your Training
An assessment is not a diagnosis. It is a starting point that makes the first block of training far more useful.

What an assessment involves
A structured look at how you stand, how you move through basic patterns, and where range or control is limited. It usually takes part of a first session.
What it is not
It is not a medical diagnosis and it does not identify a condition. It informs exercise selection. Where symptoms suggest medical input is needed, the right next step is your GP or physiotherapist.
How findings change your programme
If a movement is limited, that shapes the exercise chosen, the range used and the progression pace. Corrective work is built into warm-ups and main sets rather than handed over as a separate list.
Why it is worth the time
Training around a limitation you have not identified tends to end in frustration. Ten minutes of assessment often saves months of it.
