Women's Strength Training in Reading

Strength training is one of the most valuable things a woman can do for her body — and it should never feel intimidating. Coaching is patient, technical and encouraging, whether you have never touched a barbell or you are returning after years away.

FAQs

Good to know

Will strength training make me bulky?

No. Resistance training builds strength and supports body composition. How your body changes depends on your training, nutrition and individual physiology — and your programme is built around the result you want.

I've never lifted before. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Most clients start exactly there. You will be taught each movement step by step before any meaningful load is added.

Can strength training support bone health?

Resistance training is widely recognised as beneficial for musculoskeletal health. Zara coaches within her qualifications and works alongside any guidance from your GP or specialist.
