What we collect when you enquire, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are
Zara's Personal Training is a personal training business operating in Reading, Berkshire and surrounding areas. For data protection purposes, the data controller is Zara Naqvi, contactable at zara.naqvi@btinternet.com.
What we collect
When you submit an enquiry we collect your first name, phone number, email address, the service you're interested in, your preferred location, any message you write, your preferred contact time and the page you enquired from.
We also record basic campaign information (such as how you arrived at the site) so we understand which channels are useful. We do not collect health data through this website — anything you share about your health is discussed directly with Zara.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, arrange your free consultation and provide the training services you ask about. The lawful basis is your consent, given when you tick the consent box, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months from your last contact, unless you become a client, in which case records are kept for as long as needed to deliver services and meet legal and insurance obligations.
Who we share it with
We never sell your data. Enquiries are stored on our secure hosting and database platform, and booking is handled by third-party scheduling providers when you choose to book. Those providers process data on our behalf under their own terms.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to withdraw consent at any time, and to object to or restrict processing. To exercise any of these, email zara.naqvi@btinternet.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies and analytics
This website uses only what is needed to function. Any analytics or advertising tags are loaded only where consent has been given, and no tracking identifiers are hardcoded into the site.
